Spinning windmillGive it a blow:do the sails turn?cut

For parents

How to make it

about 25 minutesmediumwith help from an adult160 gsm paper

  1. Colour in the windmill and the sails. The sails can be any colours you like!
  2. Cut out the windmill and the sails along the dashed line.
  3. A grown-up makes a hole in the black circle on the windmill and in the middle of the sails.
  4. Put the sails on the windmill and push a split pin through both holes. Bend the legs open at the back, not too tightly.
  5. Spin the sails round with your finger, or stick the windmill on a draughty window.

The sails turn best on thick paper.
