How to make it

  1. Colour in the front, the back and the tummy strips of the dachshund.
  2. Cut everything out along the dashed line.
  3. Glue the two tummy strips together: glue on the grey box at the start of the bottom strip and lay the end of the top strip on it.
  4. Fold the long strip like an accordion: backwards and forwards in turn.
  5. Glue the first box behind the chest of the front and the last grey box behind the bottom of the back. The legs stand on the table.
  6. Gently pull the head: the dachshund gets longer and longer!

The dog stands up better on thick paper.
