How to make it

about 50 minuteschallengingwith help from an adult

  1. Turn a shoebox on its side, with the open side facing you.
  2. Colour in the back wall, the foreground and the animals on sheet 2.
  3. Cut out the back wall and glue it to the back of the box. Too big? Trim a bit off the edge.
  4. Cut out the animals. Fold the little stand under each animal backwards and glue the grey box to the bottom of the box. Put the big animals at the back and the small ones at the front.
  5. Cut out the foreground, fold the flaps backwards and glue them to the inside of the side walls, at the front of the box.
  6. Look inside: which animals can you see in your jungle? You can also hang a parrot from a thread.

You'll also need an empty shoebox. Print both pages.
