Animal pairs game

cut

For parents

How it works

about 20 minutes

  1. Colour in the animals. Colour the two cards with the same animal exactly the same.
  2. Back: colour the whole back in one colour, or stick the sheet onto coloured card first. All the backs must look the same.
  3. Cut out the twelve cards along the dashed lines.
  4. Lay them face down on the table and mix them up.
  5. Take turns to turn over two cards. The same animal? Then you keep them and have another go.
  6. Whoever has the most pairs wins.

Print on thick paper (160 gsm), so you can't see through the cards.
