How to make it

about 30 minutesmediumwith help from an adult160 gsm paper

  1. Colour in the border of the star and the moon.
  2. Cut out the shapes along the outer dashed line.
  3. Ask a grown-up to help with the windows: poke a hole in the middle, cut to the line and cut the window out.
  4. On the back, glue a piece of see-through paper (kite paper, baking paper or a bit of plastic bag) over the windows.
  5. Poke through the hanging hole, thread a string through and hang them in the window. When the sun shines, they glow!

On thick paper (160 gsm) the window hangers stay nice and flat.
