How to make it

about 30 minutesmediumwith help from an adult

  1. Colour the strips and the helmet grey, the plume red, and the shield and the feathers in your knight's colours.
  2. Cut everything out along the dashed line. Leave the white glue strips on.
  3. Glue strip B to strip A: put glue on the grey box of B and lay the end of A on top. Glue strip C to B the same way.
  4. Put the band round the head, with the 'helmet' box of strip A in the middle of your forehead. Glue it at the right size and cut off the bit that's too long.
  5. Spread glue on the white strip under the helmet and stick it behind the band, on the 'helmet' box. The helmet sticks up above your head.
  6. Glue the plume behind the top of the helmet. Glue the shield and the two feathers on the sides of the band. Ready for the tournament!

Print at actual size (100%) so the strips are long enough together.
