Colour in the four pictures and cut them apart along the dashed lines.
Lay them side by side and look closely. Where can you see only the bean? Where are little roots coming out? And where is the plant already growing out of the pot?
Put the pictures in boxes 1, 2, 3 and 4. First you put the bean on wet cotton wool and water it. Then little roots grow downwards, then a stem with two leaves grows upwards, and finally it becomes a tall plant with lots of leaves.
Check with the answer sheet and glue the pictures down. Tell the story once more.
