Colour in the four pictures and cut them apart along the dashed lines.
Lay them next to each other and look at them carefully. Find the eggs on the leaf, the caterpillar, the cocoon and the butterfly.
Put the pictures in boxes 1, 2, 3 and 4. A caterpillar comes out of the egg. The caterpillar eats and eats, makes a cocoon around itself and a butterfly comes out of it.
Check with the answer sheet and glue the pictures down. Tell the story again.
